I am a Runner Wanna Be!

Last year I completed a few races (never being able to completely run the whole thing) and have set a goal to complete a whole race with no walking before the end of this year and possibly even doing a half-marathon in the future. As I ran last year I received several injuries of which I am still trying to get over my sciatic nerve.

I have been working a little more serious lately so that I can do the lavender race in July.

Jenni and I have been walking/running in the early morning hours before I go to work.

These are some views from some of our adventures . . . .

notice all the fresh snow on the mountains and this was the end of May . . . .
more snow another morning on the mountains and it was a cold, cold run . . . .

the sun is starting to rise a little earlier now . . . .

I really love our early morning walk/run which are turning to be more run; it is so peaceful and is a great way to start the day.

Jenni is leaving for France in a few days so I will be training on my own and also doing the lavender race on my own.

I am hoping for an injury free running summer - wish my luck!
