Seattle Trip:o)

I know it's a little late and there are a lot of pictures but this is a recap of my trip the end of April to Seattle with my friend.

It just wouldn't be a party with Linda if there were not snakes. She knows how bad I hate them but they always show up somewhere. I found this in my bed the first night (you just have to know there would be more to come).
There are a lot of roads that lead underground and it is a little spooky to be under the city. This is just one of many roads leading underground.

This is a floating bridge that we crossed going to the temple.

We did a session at the Seattle Temple - very special experience!

The Space Needle

A view of Seattle from the top of the Space Needle.

Linda and I atop the Space Needle (it was a little stormy while we were there)

This is a bus that pulled into the parking lot downtown. They come early in the morning and it appeared they served pork out of the back for lunch. Amazing set up.

One of the shops in Pike's Market (I took this picture for Jenni)

Heading to Pike's Market - we spent the day there and could have spent another whole day there - lots of fun and lots of interesting people!

Pike's Market had quite an assortment of flowers for cheap. You could get a huge bouquet for $5 - $10.

We saw the original Starbucks. There was a Starbucks on just about every corner.

This is a tour bus that we saw driving around a lot.

My Alaskan Friend found a steet named just for her - Alaskan Way in Seattle.

On every street there were the most interesting people doing the most interesting things - first the balloon maker.

Musical instruments of all kinds

dressed in all sorts of attire

more musicians

We went to "Time Out for Women" while we were there - lots of fun times!

This is the home of "Allrecipes.com"

It really is a place not just someone's kitchen.

A huge water fountain by the Space Needle that people like to play in!

This is at the airport as we are waiting for our flights.
It was an amazing trip. We shared lots of laughs, tears and good times. It was nice to be away from everything and everyone.

Where to start...That snake looks familiar...but usually I see it covered in drool!
The temple is tall and skinny! It's really interesting looking!
I think I've seen that bus before on Food Network...
Tell me you saw the fish market at pike's place?! I wrote a good part of my final case analysis based on their FISH philosophy and I've been dreaming about going there ever since!
I am glad to know allrecipes.com is NOT just some random ladies kitchen!
You met lots of interesting people! It looks like you had a lot of fun!
