2011 Teton Trip

We usually go to the Tetons the first part of June but this year it didn't happen. We were trying to decide what to get Dale for Father's Day when Jenni suggested that we make a trip to the Tetons the weekend after; it ended up being Dale, Jenni and I that made the trip. It was the perfect weekend because it was the first time all season that there had been two days with no storms and the temperatures were perfect - no too hot and not cold.

Dale and I by Jackson Lake

There was lots of picture taking . . .

Dale

We did a little hiking . . . . .

to Swan Lake and around to . . .

Heron Pond then to the marina and back to camp.
We saw lots of this . . .

BEAR JAMS! ! !

of course, followed by the bear
We also saw other wildlife . . . . .

? ? ?

lots of buffalo all in one place

Jenni at Jenny Lake
It has been such a wet spring so there has not been a lot of off trail hiking done and we saw lots of wildflowers . . .

We had a great short trip.

YOu guys always see bear! That makes me sooo jealous! The numerous time i have been to yellowstone, we hardly ever see them, especially not that close! So fun, I love yellowstone, that time of the year seems perfect to go!
