Sabbath Morn

This morning the Mormon Tabernacle Choir put on a special patriotic mini-concert for the Governor's Conference and a special invite was extended to all State Employees and their families so Dale and I left home this morning about six and headed to Salt Lake.  We were able to park under the Conference Center and ride the elevator up into the Center without having to wait for the doors to open.  There were only about a 1000 for the mini-concert and it was a unique mix a people - the visiting Governor's and families and staff, a Chinese Delegation and then invited guests.  We were able to sit fairly close to the front in the center.  I love Patriotic music.  I loved the special feeling that was there.  I am glad that we were able to go.  After the concert the Choir and Orchestra practiced for their weekly program "Music and the Spoken Word", then a formal rehearsal, a short break and then the real broadcast.  It was a good way to spend the morning.
