Last Saturday Jenni and I headed to Mapleton to pick up our friends and head to St George
and you just never know what is going to happen when we get together but it is always FUN!
After a brief stop in Cedar City to check into our hotel and play a few games of cards we headed to St George to the Tuacahn
where the first thing on the agenda was a few pictures. When we arrived at the Tuacahn it was 102 degrees - a little HOT!
Jenni and Tisah could not resist the water so they sat on the edge for a few minutes to wet their feet
then there was a little standing in the water to cool off even more.
I was going to sit on the edge but the bricks were so hot that I didn't want to sit there.
The canyon and the mountains are so red and beautiful.
Like I say - you never know what will happen when we get together and we rarely get any pictures with everyone participating in an appropriate way
Linda and I have been friends for 28 years. No matter how much time passes between visits we can always pick up right where we left off. Our kids and hubby's also get along great so it is fun.
More pics of the mountains and the canyon
We went to the Tuacahn to see "Grease" and this was a party to celebrate Tisah graduating from BYU with her Masters - Congrats T!
We ate dinner there and it was good with a lot of options.
Here we are waiting for the production to start.
This is the stage area for the productions that they do. It is so much fun. They are also doing "Little Mermaid" this year and we have heard that it is excellent also (maybe another road trip this fall with Dale to check it out).
It is such a beautiful place to put on productions.
It was a quick trip and we came home Sunday but it was fun fun fun!
